Overview We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Accounting Manager to lead our transactional accounting operations and mentor a growing team. This role is ideal for a rising leader with strong manufacturing experience or an active CPA designation, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
Oversee and mentor a staff accountant and newly hired transactional team member.
Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.
Accounting Operations:
Manage traditional month-end close processes.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Oversee all transactional accounting activities and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Systems & Process Management:
Utilize SAP for financial operations and reporting.
Drive process improvements and maintain strong internal controls.
Strategic Contributions:
Support operational efficiency and risk management initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience , ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory experience , with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Experience working with large datasets and ERP platforms ( SAP preferred ).
Strong grasp of debits and credits; hands-on accounting mindset.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Energetic, go-getter personality with a desire to grow into a leadership role.
Salary Range: $100,000–$110,000
