Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and adaptable Medical Assistant to join their client's team in Baltimore. This temp-to-hire position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinic environment, providing both patient care and administrative support across multiple stations within Family Medicine. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently and demonstrate maturity and flexibility in their role. Responsibilities Clinical Tasks:

Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and minor procedures. Gather and document patient histories and chief complaints. Administer injections and medications; perform routine office testing (e.g., phlebotomy, urinalysis, pulmonary function tests). Obtain patient specimens (e.g., cultures, biopsy samples). Clarify diagnostic test preparation and medication instructions for patients. Sterilize instruments and equipment following standard protocols. Administrative Work: Manage patient charts, documentation, and flow of appointments. Utilize electronic medical records to accurately document patient information. Complete department processes and training within required timeframes. Behavioral Competency: Display empathy and compassion toward patients and their families. Demonstrate effective communication and service excellence. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Medical Assistant certification required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. 2-3 years of medical assisting experience in family medicine. CPR certification (current). Proven ability in venipuncture procedures. Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of aseptic and sterile techniques. Knowledge of blood and body fluid precautions. Skill in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks independently. Compassionate and proactive patient care approach. Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (preferred); flexible to start at 8:00 AM Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $21 to $22. Additional Details

The position is located in Baltimore city, with the candidate responsible for arranging their own parking. This is a 100% onsite role, offering a chance to work closely with patients and healthcare professionals in a vibrant clinic setting. How to Apply
