American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist (Rad Tech) with at least 2 years of CT and x-ray experience for an acute setting assignment with day shifts and rotating call. Responsibilities
Work in a 25-bed Critical Access hospital serving both acute care and clinic patients Unit specializes in CT and general x-ray imaging for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations Average hospital census is 4-5 patients; ER averages 3 patients daily Uses Siemens CT scanner, Phillips x-ray, EPIC EMR, and PACS imaging systems Day shifts typically scheduled as either 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, four days per week Call required 1-2 nights per week and coverage every fifth weekend and every fifth holiday, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Will work independently when on call and during weekends No floating to other departments Must complete training prior to joining the call rotation; substantial orientation is not provided Will perform general x-ray and CT procedures and manage patient scheduling for clinic, hospital, and ER DEXA experience is a plus but not required Gray scrubs are required All staff must badge in and out at the facility First-time travelers are accepted Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have an employment end date at least 6 months prior to consideration Facility considers local candidates; those within 80 miles are classified as local Requirements
Minimum of 2 years CT and x-ray experience required ARRT and BLS for Healthcare Providers certifications required North Dakota imaging license (NDMIRT) required Experience operating CT scanners and x-ray equipment and producing diagnostic images required Knowledge of radiation safety and strong patient care and customer service skills required Epic EMR and PACS experience preferred License required if applicable Benefits
