Must Haves: 5 - 6 years IT capacity management experience in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of capacity planning methodologies, performance analysis, and scaling decisions. Ability to understand platform architecture and resource needs across multi-data center environments. Experience reviewing technical docs and interpreting saturation/performance test results. Tools: AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat. Knowledge of ITIL capacity management practices (COBIT framework a plus). Familiar with risk/regulatory management and information security basics. Strong communication and ability to partner with application/production support teams. Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate system/application metrics to ensure stability and scalability. Assess projected growth for applications and align with resource requirements. Support ongoing capacity management, including scaling decisions and contingency planning. Provide guidance on platform architecture and capacity utilization. Collaborate across production support and application teams to manage capacity across multiple data centers. Less project-focused initially; emphasis is on steady-state capacity operations. Communicate risks, projections, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Compensation
Hourly Rate:
54$-57$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
