We’re seeking a Security Specialist II to support our growing aerospace programs and ensure compliance with federal security standards for classified work. This role is key to maintaining the integrity of our operations and supporting programs that directly contribute to national defense and space innovation. In this position, you’ll work closely with our Security, Facilities & Safety Manager (SFSM) and collaborate with government and industry partners to protect sensitive and classified information in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and related regulations. What you’ll Do: Industrial Security & Program Support
• Administer and support company and government security programs in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and customer security requirements.
• Manage personnel security actions including clearances, access validation, and DISS record maintenance.
• Maintain accountability of classified and controlled materials, ensuring proper storage, tracking, and destruction procedures.
• Support SCIF and SAPF operations in compliance with ICD 705 standards.
• Conduct or assist with security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training.
• Investigate and document security incidents, reporting findings in coordination with the SFSM and appropriate government agencies. Contract & Compliance Support
• Assist in preparing and maintaining DD254s, OPSEC plans, and Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
• Review Statements of Work (SOWs) and RFPs to ensure appropriate security requirements are included.
• Collaborate with internal and external security representatives to support classified programs and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Participate in internal audits, self-inspections, and DCSA reviews. Training & Continuous Improvement
• Partner with the SFSM to deliver engaging training on topics such as CUI, OPSEC, and classified information handling.
• Help update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure local practices align with evolving regulations. Work with the COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) to support communications security program compliance.
• Support adherence to information systems security requirements and participate in Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (U.2–5 years in industrial or program security (CPSO, ACPSO, or similar).
• Experience supporting SCI/SAP programs is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with secure facility requirements and construction standards preferred. DISS, NISS, and classified material handling procedures. Able to collaborate across teams and interface with government security officials.

• Robust Paid Holiday Schedule Compensation Range: $75,000 - $110,000 Your actual base salary will be determined individually and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total compensation package, which also includes discretionary bonuses, a 401(k) match, annual profit sharing, 100% employer-paid benefit premiums, and more.
