The City of Cokato is seeking applicants for the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker. This position performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair functions associated with the operation of municipal water and sewer plants, lift stations, water towers, streets, parks, and city buildings.
Duties will also include repair and maintenance of city vehicles and equipment. A Class B MN driver's commercial license with air brake certification is required or must be obtained within six months of employment. Experience with operation of mechanical equipment and welding is also desirable.
This position is full time (FT), hourly, with a current pay range of $19.92 - $25.90 with starting pay of $19.92. This position is benefit-eligible and the City of Cokato offers a generous benefit package which includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, vacation time, sick time, 11 paid holidays, and 7.5% City contribution to PERA retirement.
