Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Facility Location: 750 E Adams St, Syracuse, NY 13210 Shift: Day | 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality care in a Level I Trauma Center environment. The RN will care for both adult and pediatric patients and may float to the Pediatric ED and other cross-campus AEDs as needed. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of recent (within 2 years) acute care experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center Licensure: Active New York State RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) – Required ACLS, PALS – Strongly Preferred Preferred Experience: EPIC EMR proficiency Prior travel and trauma-level ED experience Responsibilities: Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in accordance with trauma and emergency care standards Perform triage, administer medications, and assist with emergent procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat critical patients Float as assigned between Adult ED, Pediatric ED, and Cross-Campus ED units Schedule Details: Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Days) Weekends: Every other weekend Holidays: Some required Additional Information: Travelers will only be considered if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma level EPIC charting experience preferred Must pass health screening, drug test, and background check prior to start About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
