JOB SUMMARY TTX owns and operates North America's largest Intermodal railcar fleet. TTX's Intermodal railcar fleet is used by our railroad customers to move trailers and containers between Sea Ports or other Network Terminals prior to being delivered by truck to their final destination. The use of the Intermodal rail network, and TTX's fleet, helps to move consumer products in a safe and efficient manner, reduces carbon emissions and eliminates the need for 280 road freight vehicles for every intermodal train run.

The Intermodal Equipment Manager will oversee the daily operation of the 150,000+ unit fleet, ensuring optimal utilization is attained in a fair and equitable manner to our railroad customers. The person in this role will ensure the status of all equipment is maintained in accordance with car contract rules, and lead the preparation of daily, weekly & monthly reports analyzing the status of the fleet. Additionally, this role will serve as the liaison to Revenue Accounting for corrective action on all revenue reporting issues and will have supervisory responsibilities.

The Intermodal Equipment Manager will be expected to develop, build on, and apply an understanding of Intermodal equipment, the benefits of pooling, applicable distribution and car hire rules, and TTX enterprise systems to promote usage of the TTX fleet. Some presentations and speaking before committees or other audiences will occur. Shared accountability for maintaining and furthering relationships with railroad contacts in accordance with TTX's Mission, Vision and Values. Special projects or tasks are assigned as needed and some travel (5-10%) is to be expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct responsibility for managing the distribution of and car hire status for Intermodal equipment o Car hire is TTX's source of revenue, and this person will act as the direct point of contact for car hire relief requests o Ensures continuity and accuracy between relevant applications. Reconciles discrepancies in accordance with car contract rules and Company policies o Builds on and applies understanding of the factors that affect Intermodal usage o Keeps our railroad car management contacts educated on car hire relief procedures. o Ensures weekly equipment distribution process is completed

• Monitor Data Integrity o Develop understanding of key car management metrics (e.g., cycle time, Origin/Destination pairs) o Performs data mining/analytical reporting using Business Intelligence tools o Manages railcar events in TTX Fleet Management Systems o Collaborates on various Fleet system improvements, prioritization, and user acceptance testing. o May be assigned to assist with data requests or analysis, and other special projects.

Personal Development/Travel o Expand industry knowledge and business networks through attendance of related conferences, industry committees, field visits and scheduled meetings with car management contacts within participating railroads Other o Coordinate and execute any TTX hosted meetings o Develop knowledge of TTX Car Contracts and agreements o Process external user access requests o Provide TTX system training to external users as needed o Perform any other committee functions as required

QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree with a preference for any of the following: Logistics, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics • Fluency in English, with strong written, verbal, and customer service skills are essential. • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and railroad customers is critical. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks according to urgency and department objectives. Able to thrive in a team environment or work autonomously • Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public • Ability to perform Ad Hoc reporting using Microsoft Suite and other visual data products o Knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Products, along with familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. Preferred Qualities Possessed by Candidate: • Deliver with Impact: Articulate value and propose solutions in service of customer and TTX. About the Team

What we do:

Provide a wide range of services for North American railroads and the transportation industry. Create a Business Plan that drives the Company's plan for new car builds and modifications. The business plan reflects the economy, freight markets, and any changes in freight strategies. Day-to-day management of the TTX Company's Intermodal, General Equipment and Automotive fleets. Manage procurement of new rail cars, components and other materials used to support TTX fleet maintenance. Manage the North American Boxcar Pool and the Automotive Reload pool, which includes rail cars supplied by owners other than TTX. Provide in-depth analysis of the economy, the rail industry and its competitors.
