Personal Injury Law Firm
is seeking a
Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant
to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with
QuickBooks expertise , experience handling
IOLA accounts , and a strong background in
trust reconciliations and legal accounting . The ideal candidate will work
directly with the CFO
and be eager to grow alongside the firm as it expands.
What You'll Do: Manage
IOLA accounts , including
trust reconciliations
and compliance. Handle
QuickBooks transactions , including
invoices, expense tracking, and reconciliations . Review and process
Amex statements, vendor payments, and firm expenses . Work closely with the
CFO on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting . Prepare
client invoices and manage billing inquiries . Meet with
clients regarding billing and financial matters
as needed. Maintain
accurate financial records
and ensure compliance with legal and accounting standards. What You'll Bring: 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience , preferably in a
law firm or personal injury practice . Strong QuickBooks skills
and experience managing
IOLA accounts . Knowledge of trust accounting principles
and reconciliation procedures. Ability to work independently
while collaborating with firm leadership. Strong
attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills . Good tenure
in previous roles- stability is key . Must be
comfortable working in-office 5 days per week . Compensation: Up to
$100,000 , depending on experience. Opportunity to grow as the firm expands.
