Position Overview:

Title: Outside Sales Representative: South Carolina

Workplace Type: Field Sales / Hybrid

Reports To: Sales Leadership

This is a strategic sales role focused on driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence in a high-potential territory. The position combines relationship-based selling with technical expertise to support continued regional success.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Proactively sell and promote a full line of structural and engineered wood products to professional builders, contractors, and building supply dealers.

Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for your customers, ensuring satisfaction through responsiveness, product knowledge, and reliable service.

Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of structural framing systems and provide value-driven, cost-effective solutions for residential and light commercial projects.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and execute sales plans that meet or exceed regional revenue goals while supporting the company’s broader growth objectives.

Territory: Based in Greenville, SC, this territory spans north to Asheville, NC, south to Columbia, SC, east to Spartanburg, SC, and west to Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile:

Industry Experience: Background in building materials sales is preferred, especially in structural components such as trusses, engineered wood, or framing materials.

Sales Skills: Proven ability to manage a territory, achieve sales targets, and develop long-term relationships with professional builders and contractors.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with blueprints, construction plans, and design software is an asset.

Personal Traits: Self-motivated, organized, and service-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the professionalism to represent a family-owned, quality-driven company.
