Schedule:
Full Time 40 hours a week. Mainly 9am - 5:30pm, some evenings 2pm - 10:30pm and weekend shifts flexibility an option for weekends
Shift : Days mainly with need of some flexibility working some evenings and weekend shifts.
Location : 200 North Lakemont Avenue, Winter Park, 32792
Department Highlights:
Clinical Patient Experience Assistant Nurse Manager is a leadership role focused on improving the overall patient experience by creating a positive and patient‑centered environment. They work with our clinical teams throughout the hospital to ensure the outcome of our patients feel supported, informed, and engaged throughout their care journey.
The community you’ll be caring for:
Winter Park Memorial Hospital has continuously served the residents of Winter Park and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years
Chartered in 1951, the hospital has grown from the visionary efforts of a handful of Winter Park residents and community leaders, to a 307‑bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness
Over the years the hospital has continually expanded to meet the needs of the community, adding an upscale obstetrics and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Dr. P. Phillips Baby Place, cancer care at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, Winter Park, and state‑of‑the‑art surgery, recovery and rehabilitation at the AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute
The role you’ll contribute:
The ANM is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of their assigned unit. Is able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The ANM is skilled in coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population. The ANM assures quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. Is supportive of change activities on their unit and works to assure implementation of change that may occur. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

– Utilizes relationship in influencing behaviors on the unit
Clinical Practice Knowledge
– Is an expert in the clinical practice requirements of their unit.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing
Specific experience as delineated by the unit of employment
Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
EKG competency
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree of Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
