Our client is an investment firm. They seek a Private Equity Operations Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Assist with Fair Value determination of the Fund’s portfolio of underlying private equity investments
Ensure the accurate processing of capital calls paid to and distributions received from underlying holdings
Work with the Fund’s sub-administrator, custodian, and other critical service providers and vendors
Review daily reconciliation of the Fund’s custodial and brokerage accounts
Respond to requests for information that are received from the underlying private equity sponsors
Support marketing efforts by updating marketing collateral and obtaining compliance approval
Contribute to the preparation and review of the Fund’s SEC filings
Perform scheduled and ad hoc internal reporting including portfolio performance reporting
Process and review investor subscription and tender offer activity, investor statements, purchase confirmations, etc.
Assess tax structures associated with prospective investment transactions to ensure compliance with guidelines
Requirements
2+ years of operations accounting experience
Public/private accounting background
Fund experience required
Private equity experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic and a self-starter
CPA strongly preferred
