Front Office UI/UX Engineer
New York. Do you want to play a key part in developing the tools that traders and researchers rely on to monitor, manage, and control complex real‑time systems? The interfaces you’ll build sit directly in the flow of live execution across multiple asset classes, where clarity, responsiveness, and stability matter every second. This role focuses on how people actually use the platform, understanding the pace of a trading floor and turning that into clean, reliable software that performs under pressure.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop rich front‑end interfaces for real‑time trading and monitoring systems.
Partner with researchers, engineers, and traders to understand workflows, data flows, and decision‑making needs.
Define the architecture and long‑term vision for the user interface layer and its supporting APIs.
Collaborate with engineers across multiple offices to deliver consistent, high‑quality user experiences.
Apply best practices in software design, testing, and delivery to ensure scalable and robust systems.
Lead user‑centric discussions, translating complex requirements into clear, functional design outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Deep experience in front‑end engineering with TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
Strong back‑end capability in C#, Python, or Java, ideally with exposure to real‑time or event‑driven systems.
A refined sense for UX and design, able to identify and communicate what “great” looks like in complex environments.
Experience building UIs or tools within a trading, execution, or real‑time analytics context.
Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with end‑users and senior stakeholders.
Proven ability to operate within high‑performance, collaborative engineering teams.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of distributed systems, event‑streaming, or monitoring architecture.
Experience designing secure control interfaces and audit mechanisms.
Background in finance, trading, or quantitative research environments.
