Technical Project Manager - Data Center
Location: Hybrid (Downtown Dallas - 3 days per week). Contract type: W2 (we cannot work C2C on this role, this is strictly W2). Duration: 6 months initial (scope for extension 18+ months). Pay Rate: Market Rate (we will meet your expectations). Project

This role suits a highly organized, technically adept project manager with a passion for infrastructure excellence and continuous improvement. You will thrive in high-performance compute environments and enjoy the challenge of turning complex technical requirements into structured, efficient, and measurable outcomes. You are someone who not only drives execution but also brings clarity and structure through robust process documentation. You understand how to capture and streamline workflows, making technical processes accessible and repeatable for cross-functional teams. You are equally comfortable preparing clear, visually effective presentations in PowerPoint as you are designing detailed operational artifacts. You take pride in providing regular, data-driven updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies in a way that drives informed decision-making. You have a strong sense of ownership, can operate independently in fast-paced environments, and collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, and leadership. Key Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on datacenter operations. Strong familiarity with process improvement and optimization methodologies. Proficient in project management tools. Demonstrated experience in documenting and presenting strategic project materials using PowerPoint. Proven ability to communicate project status, risks, and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Experience managing projects across compute (CPU/GPU), storage, networking, and datacenter infrastructure. Strong project management capabilities including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and timeline control. Ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements and ensuring delivery alignment. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Key Responsibilities
Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of projects involving compute infrastructure, including scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation. Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle while managing dependencies and adjusting plans as needed. Provide structured project updates and executive-level reporting to leadership, ensuring visibility of key milestones, blockers, and dependencies. Utilize JIRA, Confluence, and related tools to track progress, assign tasks, and facilitate agile planning and retrospectives. Develop and maintain process design and operational documentation, alongside preparing strategic and operational materials using tools like Confluence and Power Point. Lead process optimization initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, team coordination, and resource utilization within the infrastructure domain. Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure projects align with long‑term business strategies and the company’s technical roadmap.
