One of our clients is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Client's Available Hours/Role Type Part-Time Role | Earn Up to $75/hr plus School-Based
Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluations and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth through evidence-based interventions. The SLP collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized treatment plans, contributes to IEP development, monitors progress, and delivers direct therapy services.
Client's Required Skills & Experience
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (accredited program)
Valid Texas SLP license; CCCSLP (ASHA) preferred, hold an assistant's license Licensure by the Texas Department of Health to practice Speech Pathology in the public schools, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred.
State SLP Licensure (Texas License required)
12 years of school‑based experience preferred.
Evaluate students using district approved evaluation instruments and complete an evaluation report following district guidelines.
Provide speech therapy services to individual students; consult with teachers, staff and parents on classroom interventions and techniques.
Attend ARD/IEP meetings and complete ARD/IEP documentation in the district approved web‑based ARD/IEP program
Maintain accurate and complete data of services provided and student progress as required by the district. Follow guidelines for documentation and reporting of services for the basis of Medicaid reimbursement through the School Health and Related Services program (SHARS).
