Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients, serving as the face of Synectics Inc. in routine health encounters and significant health decisions.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain direct patient contact, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accurate patient information handling.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Show organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience; one or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric expertise.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Shift/Time Zone: 6:30a.m. – 3:30p.m. EST, Monday–Friday, rotating weekends.

Technical Certification Bonus: Up to $500 for an approved professional certification related to your current position. Only one bonus per calendar year; awarded 90 days after verification of successful completion.
