Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to support our fast-paced distribution center operations. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation. The HR Generalist will work closely with leadership to foster a positive work environment and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to support our fast-paced distribution center operations. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, and HR policy implementation. The HR Generalist will work closely with leadership to foster a positive work environment and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from DC employees and supervisors.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Administer and track employee attendance, leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, etc.), and other time-off programs.
- Support performance management processes, including coaching, corrective actions, and documentation.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Assist with investigations related to employee complaints, workplace incidents, or policy violations.
- Partner with safety and operations teams to support a safe and compliant workplace.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. UKG).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- This role is primarily based in the distribution center with regular interaction on the warehouse floor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
