Pay Rates

• Janitor substitute pay: $7.25 per hour.
• Certified substitute teacher: $78.00 per day (days 1‑6).
• B.S. Degree substitute teacher: $73.00 per day (days 1‑6).
• High school diploma or GED substitute teacher: $63.00 per day.
• Long‑term rates (starting day 7):
  • Certified $113.00 per day.
  • B.S. $80.00 per day.
  • High school/ GED $63.00 per day.
  • Nurse $80.00 per day.

Additional Requirements

• All substitutes must work two months before receiving their first paycheck.
• Record hours worked in a notebook for accurate compensation.
• Paid hourly; overtime over eight hours uses a conversion chart.
