The Role Consulting Solutions Architect Job Summary: As a Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA) you will play a critical role in Presidio's Mid-Central Region. The CSA provides a business-focused approach and high-touch engagement with a select number of high-profile public sector accounts. The CSA evangelizes Presidio product offerings and new vendor technologies within those accounts. The CSA is primarily responsible for uncovering new opportunities, quarterbacking multiple concurrent technical initiatives, and developing the trusted advisor relationship with assigned accounts. The CSA maintains market-leading pre-sales capabilities, drives the expansion of our services business, and aligns with vendor partners for those clients. The CSA supports clients, our sales teams, pre-sales teams, and services teams with excellent technical and services knowledge in a professional, efficient, and constructive manner. Travel Requirements This position requires same-day travel across the Presidio Indiana and Ohio markets. It will be based in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities Has a full understanding of the customer business model, strategy, and objectives Has a full understanding of the customer metrics for measuring success, both at the individual and at the corporate level Be in full agreement with your account manager on strategy in covered account(s) Establish bi-weekly or monthly account review sessions with AMs Gains the trust of assigned accounts through technical relationship building, integrity, leadership, and professionalism Be able to message Presidio's entire portfolio of offerings, capabilities, and position Presidio's broad solutions set Drives services and product sales across all areas through primary knowledge or with the assistance of subject matter experts Provide strategic consulting and advice to primary assigned clients Be the technical lead on all multi-practice engagements Provide thought leadership to clients as they operate and transform their businesses Update SFDC with relevant account information and activity Be involved onsite with assigned clients on a regular basis Engage proactively with assigned accounts, including initiation of strategic meetings Required Skills and Professional Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience 7+ years of overall relevant experience including 5+ years in Pre-Sales, Consulting, Enterprise Architecture design OR 5+ years of experience as a technology executive Self-motivated Excellent communication skills and public speaking ability One or more of the following Thorough understanding of Networking Architecture, Cloud Networking, and Network Automation Thorough understanding of Data Center Software Defined Architecture Thorough understanding of Collaboration Systems and Architecture Thorough understanding of Security Frameworks and their applicable use cases Additional Desired Skills AI/ML Understanding Observability Cloud Hyper-Scaler Public sector experience Your future at Presidio Joining Presidio means stepping into a culture of trailblazers—thinkers, builders, and collaborators—who push the boundaries of what’s possible.
