The Awareness and Outreach Specialist plays an integral role in advancing the mission of Michael’s House to provide a coordinated community response to child maltreatment through prevention, education, and advocacy in a safe and healing environment. This position builds and strengthens partnerships across Greene County, increases public awareness of child abuse prevention, and engages stakeholders—community organizations, schools, law enforcement, social services, and volunteers—to expand the reach and impact of Michael’s House.
Department Specific Job Details:
Education:Bachelors degree required, preferably in Communications, Public Health, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Experience:Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in community engagement, program coordination, or outreach in a nonprofit or human services setting.
