Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with minimum 3 years of experience. Will work on equipment and trucks that are diesel engines, some are gas powered.
Will provide mechanical support to maintain and repair trucks, trailers, hydraulic cranes, drilling rig engines, forklifts, and mud pumps. Must have mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience. Job Duties
· Rebuild, maintain and repair diesel and gasoline trucks, cars, trailers, hydraulic cranes, hoists, air compressors, drilling and service rig engines, mud pumps, rotary tables, drilling swivels, kellies, backhoes, forklifts, and other mechanized equipment.
· Diagnose any mechanical, electrical or other breakdown or failure to company trucks and other mechanized equipment.
· Read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators and other electronic diagnostic tools.
· Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of the component parts and systems on trucks and other mechanized equipment.
·MAY Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to position equipment for repair.
· Apply knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA rules and regulations.
