We’re looking for a
Maintenance Technician
to execute proper upkeep and maintenance of basic equipment, building and property. (No machinery). The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented with an adaptable attitude and a handyman skill set.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections, preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance of the building, warehouses and common areas of the site
Create a preventative maintenance schedule
Perform maintenance activities in a reliable and cost-effective manner in compliance with safety, quality, compliance requirements and industry standards.
Escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner
Identify reoccurring problems impacting the warehouses and identify possible solutions
Move electrical benches and rewire them
Install racks and shelving in the warehouses
Service the heaters in the warehouses
Stay on the of green initiatives and project work
Participate in the selection of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary to support the maintenance operations; help determine inventory levels and quantities of spare parts required
Ensure maintenance and facilities management records are properly maintained and safeguarded
Identify and support sustainment initiatives to reduce energy consumption and waste
Shovel sidewalks around the buildings/common areas
Help the owners of the company with any minor home repairs
Oversee one maintenance assistant
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
3+ years of maintenance/handyman type of work
Experience with electrical work
Strong communication skills both oral and written, Spanish is a plus
Basic computer skills including MS Office applications (Word/Excel)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to influence work of others to accomplish goals
