About The Position Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Licensed in California Certifications: - CRT or ARRT in mammography - ARRT in Radiology for MQSA purposes Must-Have: - 3D Mammo skills Description: Mammography Tech position available. Must be licensed in California. Candidates are required to have CRT or ARRT in mammography. ARRT in Radiology for MQSA purposes is required. Initial qualifications include 40 hours of training and 25 supervised procedures. Must have 8 hours of digital and 8 hours of tomography certification. The unit comprises 6 techs, 6 support staff, and 1 RN. Day shift runs from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00. The staff maintains a friendly and supportive atmosphere. 3D Mammo skills are a must-have for this role. The typical procedures performed include screening and diagnostic imaging.
