Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for creating effective and efficient maintenance and reliability task plans that will include materials, labor, skills and tools necessary to complete the job(s).
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports and investigates situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk. Actively leads risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility by driving prioritized corrective and preventative actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health or safety risks. Participate in safety observation programs as required. Understand and fully utilize all ISO procedures Acts as site's Electrical Lead Ensure compliance to all safety policies and procedures. Leads special projects Check job site(s) to determine all requirements needed Create task specific plans that detail the steps, sequence and estimate of time required, tools and parts to complete the scope of maintenance or reliability work. Identifies and documents the required skill sets to perform each step. Create job plans in CMMS and create maintenance procedures when needed Set up TPM stations with correct tools and parts/supplies Creates detailed PM tasks with assistance of site reliability engineer Responsible to lead the site Certified Electrical Worker program, including designing and performing the Annual Field Audits Responsible for requesting all materials required to complete the work order and identifies requirements for specialty services to be performed by contractors. Creates purchase requisitions for non-stock items. Responsible for maintaining / updating equipment files and equipment BOMs Updates all job plans based on maintenance craft and supervision feedback Support team and individual accountabilities for problem solving and cost reduction. Maintain ISO compliant records. Support effective 6s and TPM implementation. Review job plan and ensure proper safety procedures and resource availability are in place before work begins Ensures deadlines are met for specialty services and equipment. Effectively communicate with all team members Train designated backups and others as identified and assigned Researches, works with technicians and vendors to locate obsolete parts replacement Redesign partial or total system required by obsolete part replacement Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related area preferred Minimum 3 years in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skill to manage multiple projects simultaneously Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively. Responds well to questions. Employs active listening skills. Can interface effectively with customers, vendors, contractors and senior leaders. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard office machines and computer software including Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Strong planning and decision-making skills
