Job Description: As a Client-Facing Technical Architect specialized in Dynamics 365 ERP implementations, you will lead the design and execution of transformative solutions for our clients. This role requires strong technical leadership to ensure high-quality deliverables and exceptional client satisfaction throughout complex projects. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to architect integrated enterprise systems that meet business objectives and drive impactful results. Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

Lead the target architecture for D365 F&O and integrated applications across Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault). Choose and implement appropriate integration patterns (Dual write/Dataverse, OData, DMF, File/Batch, Event driven, API first) and create secure, versioned APIs. Develop data and analytics strategies (BYOD/Export to Data Lake, ADLS, Fabric/Synapse ready models, Power BI semantic models) to facilitate reporting, automation, and AI integration. Incorporate non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, compliance, operability, cost) with clear SLOs and testable acceptance criteria. Delivery Leadership

Act as the primary client-facing technical lead throughout the entire project lifecycle, from discovery to go-live and ongoing support. Establish delivery foundations by configuring environments, integration patterns, security, and DevOps pipelines to enable swift and safe feature delivery. Ensure all technical deliverables adhere to stringent quality standards and align with strategic goals, enhancing Crowe's reputation. Define and uphold engineering standards: code reviews, branching strategies, solution layering, extensibility (X++/extensions), telemetry, and documentation. Identify and foster opportunities for collaboration with Crowe Technical specialists and Microsoft FastTrack to improve project outcomes. Copilot & AI Enablement

Develop ERP and integration solutions that present relevant data effectively, enabling Copilot, reporting, and advanced analytics. Integrate automation and intelligence into workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and decision-making capabilities. Guide clients in adopting Copilot and AI functionalities responsibly, balancing innovation with compliance and security considerations. Advisory, Pre-Sales & Thought Leadership

Assist in shaping proposals and statements of work, leading client demonstrations and technical sessions, and contributing to estimates and delivery strategies. Create reusable assets, reference architectures, and best practice guides while mentoring engineers and consultants. Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications

8+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise solutions on Microsoft platforms; at least 5 years with D365 F&O/AX and/or CE, including 2-3 full cycle implementations in an architect or lead capacity. Hands-on expertise with D365 F&O extensibility (X++ review, extension patterns, data entities, DMF), environment strategy, and LCS. Proven architecture background across Power Platform (model-driven/canvas apps, Power Automate flows) and Azure integration services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus/Event Grid). Robust integration experience (OData/REST, webhooks/events, batch/ETL via ADF/Fabric). Strong ownership of non-functional design (security, performance, resiliency) with demonstrable SLOs and testing strategies. Practical experience with ALM (solutions, pipelines, Git, unit/automated UI testing). Comprehensive understanding of security & governance (Entra ID, RBAC, DLP, environment strategy). Exceptional client communication skills and consulting expertise (estimates, risk management). Experience in people management, including team leadership, coaching, and performance management. Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with Dataverse/Dual write, D365 Supply Chain/Commerce/CE integrations, or experience in the Manufacturing domain. Knowledge of Copilot Studio (plugins, orchestration, connectors) and RAG patterns. Relevant Microsoft certifications, including Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert or others.
