The QTI Group is partnering with a leading metal manufacturer to recruit Maintenance Technicians for DIRECT HIRE opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shift. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills who enjoy solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, performing building maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Schedule:2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Compensation:
$32-$38/hour, based on experience
Additional pay for on-call time
Full benefits package available
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and PM procedures
Log maintenance activities and results using computer systems
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in maintenance, including equipment repair and preventive maintenance
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
Basic computer and math skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
