*** is helping an autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer to ensure all assembly, bring-up, and End-of-Line (EOL) testing processes meet the company's high-quality standards.
In this role, you'll develop and implement in-line and end-of-line quality checks, perform root-cause analysis for production issues, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in quality, engineering, supply chain, and software to maintain high standards throughout the production process.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with deep experience in manufacturing quality systems, a strong understanding of automotive standards, and the ability to work independently to improve processes and resolve complex issues.
As a Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer, you will: Develop and integrate quality and functional checks into manufacturing and testing processes. Lead root-cause analysis for assembly-related and EOL issues and implement corrective actions. Develop and optimize PFMEAs, control plans, and EOL processes. Analyze quality data to identify trends and improve manufacturing performance. Collaborate across teams to resolve supplier- or design-related quality concerns. Support quality policy development and ensure compliance with standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9000. Create and maintain documentation to align with quality system requirements.
