About the Role
We’re partnered with one of the region’s most respected and rapidly growing Water/Wastewater General Contractors to find a Senior Project Engineer for a major project based in San Francisco.
This is a key role leading the mechanical efforts on a high‑profile W/WW project. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and the drive to progress into a Project Management role within 12 months.
Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of the project, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support the Project Manager in planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Collaborate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep the project moving smoothly.
Review technical drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
Requirements
2–6 years of experience in Water/Wastewater construction.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
