Job Description: The Opportunity
Lead the Production Control function for a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing site. You'll own the master schedule, coordinate people/machines/materials, and drive on-time delivery through data-driven planning in our ERP (Epicor a plus). You'll coach a coordinator team, partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, and continuously improve flow and throughput.
What You'll Do Lead & develop the team:
Hire, train, coach, set priorities, and manage performance for Production Control Coordinators. Master scheduling:
Build, publish, and maintain finite, resource-feasible production schedules; revise for demand, capacity, or material changes; communicate impacts. S&OP touchpoints:
Participate in forecasting and planning meetings with Sales, Production, Shipping, Purchasing, and Customer Service; review new orders and commit realistic dates. Resource coordination:
Align labor, machines, and materials with plan; identify and clear bottlenecks. ERP ownership:
Create/update jobs, maintain planning data, and ensure data integrity across orders, inventory, and capacity in the ERP/MRP system. Performance visibility:
Track schedule adherence, WIP, lead time, and utilization; report trends and drive corrective actions. Continuous improvement:
Reduce lead times, improve flow, and standardize planning processes and best practices. What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree
or
equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years
in manufacturing planning/scheduling (high-mix, low-volume preferred). 7+ years
proven people leadership as a supervisor (required). Strong ERP/MRP proficiency (Epicor experience is a plus). Advanced Excel/Office skills; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Exceptional organization and attention to detail; effective cross-functional collaborator.

The salary range for this position is $73,074 - $91,344. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
