The HVAC Install Helper position performs installation of new HVAC equipment in existing and new construction residential and commercial properties. HVAC Install Helper's work may include but is not limited to: installation of duct work and HVAC equipment, performing start-ups on HVAC equipment and installing and terminating line and low voltage wiring.
Pay Range:
$18 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Installation of duct work and HVAC equipment
Ability to work in confined spaces (attic and under houses)
Maintain, clean and stock company vehicle
Ensure a clean and safe work area
Maintain safety protocols with home owners or guest
Ability to communicate with owners or guests professionally
Ability to work well with coworkers
Follow direction of job superintendent
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Work Days
Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday but must have the ability to work weekends, holidays and afterhours, when required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
Lift and carry material weighing up to 75 lbs.; occasionally lifting items weighing more than 100 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to climb and utilize a ladder safely.
Good physical fitness: hand-eye coordination and ability to quickly respond to sounds.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including outdoors in times of excessive heat and inclement weather.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license
