Corporate HR Manager - Manufacturing

Key HR leadership role supporting multiple manufacturing and distribution locations Blend of strategic planning and daily execution Union and non-union workforce exposure Direct involvement in performance coaching, employee development, and team culture About the Role This is a site-based HR leadership position with multi-site support responsibilities. You'll be based out of the Glenview corporate office and serve as the HR resource for teams in IL, MN, WI, NC and TX. We're looking for someone who brings energy, structure, and a steady hand. You'll work closely with plant managers and supervisors to lead employee relations, coach leadership teams, support hiring and onboarding efforts, and help reinforce company policies and culture across all locations. What You'll Focus On
Partner with site leadership to align day-to-day HR practices with operational priorities Guide managers through coaching conversations, performance feedback, and team development planning Lead investigations and help resolve employee issues fairly and consistently Support union-related matters including grievance response and communication with union reps Work with local teams to deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing communication across sites Act as a key contact for HR compliance, labor law questions, and policy enforcement Roll out corporate HR initiatives in the field, tailoring execution to fit each site Stay engaged with workforce culture, identifying and addressing morale and retention challenges Provide direction and support to one direct report in the HR function Travel approximately once or twice per month to stay connected with the teams you support What You'll Bring
BS/BA is required, ideally in Human Resources, Business, or related field 7+ years of progressive HR experience, must have experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting Familiarity with both union and non-union environments Strong communicator with the ability to coach, support, and influence managers at all levels Solid grasp of HR compliance, employee relations, and labor law Experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS systems preferred Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required Travel up to 25% to operations as needed Perks & Benefits
