About the Role
Our client, a leading automotive supplier, seeks a hands-on
Quality Manager
to own and continuously improve a robust Quality Management System (QMS). You will spearhead warranty analytics, guide cross-functional corrective actions, and lead a 25-person team of Quality Engineers and Supervisors to achieve zero-defect performance across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities QMS Leadership Design, implement, and audit ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 processes, aligned with MMOG standards. Maintain closed-loop warranty analysis systems that drive rapid root-cause identification and cost reduction.
Team & Stakeholder Management Direct, mentor, and develop up to

Quality Engineers/Supervisors; conduct hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. Build strong relationships with customer and supplier quality counterparts, acting as the primary liaison for audits and issue resolution.
Continuous Improvement & Launch Support Lead APQP/PPAP efforts for new product introductions; develop and maintain Process Control Plans (PCP). Facilitate cross-functional root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions, leveraging Lean Six Sigma tools where appropriate. Serve as the Quality representative in Kaizen, 5S, and other Lean initiatives.
Warranty & Data Analytics Champion data-driven decisions by integrating warranty databases, dashboards, and KPIs that reduce No-Trouble-Found (NTF) returns. Translate warranty insights into actionable improvements for product and process teams.
Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to internal policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Promote and maintain a safe, accident-free work environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- or -
5+ years' equivalent experience in automotive quality leadership. Proven success in
Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive manufacturing
environments. Expert knowledge of
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 , and customer/supplier quality metrics. Demonstrated ability to lead teams through RCA, corrective actions, and measurable PPM/warranty cost reductions. Strong communication skills; comfortable interfacing with executives, customers, and production personnel. Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Lean/Kaizen methodologies. Preferred Skills
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification. Experience deploying advanced analytics or digital quality tools for warranty management. Familiarity with ERP/MES platforms and statistically driven SPC processes. Why Join?
