We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented

Production Manager

in partnership with a prominent client in the Binghamton area. This role is responsible for organizing and directing production activities to meet delivery schedules, maintain budget targets, and uphold quality.

Job Summary: Shift: 1 st Pay: 60K- 80K

Production Manager

Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing operations. Develop and manage production plans in line with customer demand and available resources. Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Track production output, product standards, and implement quality control programs. Supervise and support production staff, including recruitment, training, shift planning, and conducting performance reviews. Work cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, QA, and logistics to enhance workflow and resolve operational challenges. Proactively identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain output. Guide and support team leaders to foster a culture of accountability and growth. Maintain accurate production records and produce regular reports Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and applicable industry standards.

Production Manager

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/ GED Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related field. Proven experience in a production or manufacturing management role. (5 years preferred) Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make strategic decisions, and drive performance. Familiarity with ERP systems and other production management tools. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and compliance standards. Experience in aerospace wire or cable manufacturing is highly desirable. Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports. Operate material handling tools and equipment as needed. Must be comfortable working in cleanroom environments and wearing appropriate cleanroom attire. Required to use protective equipment, including ESD coats, safety footwear, and safety glasses.
