SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY

: Seeking an energetic and dynamic team player to assist the Supply Chain Project Manager with supply chain and logistic functions for our Digital Network, specifically for the rolling stock warehouse in North New Jersey. This individual should have the technical abilities to read cut sheets & bills of materials to support the project and aggressive installation schedule. Daily operations includes warehouse support with inventory management, and inbound & outbound logistical operations. As directed, controls the impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating, picking & packing, kitting, dispatching and optimizing inventory levels for various products & material across warehouses and project sites. Scan bar code products in/out of inventory currently managed in MS Excel, and eventually an enterprise inventory management system. The position will require use of forklift to load/unload trailers, containers, trucks, racks within warehouse. Breakdown pallets, assemble product (screens & prefabricated kits) into carts, label and coordinate shipments and at times, requires deliveries to various warehouse locations and project sites using company vehicles, pickup truck and box truck.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: Coordinate/Prepare shipment of products and Kits for digital screen deployments – ensure precise record keepingManage shipping to deployment destinationsOrganize logistics for shipments and deliveriesQuality control of deliveries as they arriveSupport RMA process for failed units/parts as needed – track to conclusion Load/Unload trailers, trucks for both deliveries and shipmentsOperate Forklift (certification a plus, but will train for certification)Drive box truck in/out NYC to project sites and warehousesScan products in/out of inventorySupport Quarterly/Year-End warehouse audits as neededWork in warehouse environment as necessaryWork cross functionally with field team PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT

: Lifting up to 50 pounds and walking warehouses Driving in and out of NYC, to job sites and warehouse to warehouse (typically within NYC & state) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

:

Computer skills required: MS Excel, other MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word) a must

Use of warehouse management tools a plus

Extremely detail oriented and very organized

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize/handle assignments and deadlines.

Ability to handle the tasks associated with a very fast paced environment.

Clean driving record

Team Player a must

Non-standard work hours.

Willingness to learn additional computer skills and systems as needed
