About the Role
Join our dynamic team as the Vice President of Global Supplier Management. In this pivotal role, you will lead a large organization that seamlessly integrates various functions including category sourcing, third-party oversight, procurement operations, accounts payable, and supplier relationship management. Your leadership will be key in developing and executing comprehensive category management strategies for significant sourcing transactions. You will be tasked with identifying and qualifying suppliers, conducting rigorous due diligence, and collaborating with business clients to articulate sourcing requirements.
As a Vice President, you will design and execute competitive processes, spearhead negotiations, and ensure full compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience managing non-technical spend categories. You should possess a strong foundation in thought leadership, market research, commercial skills, project management, business strategy alignment, and risk management.
Legal acumen, along with the ability to navigate complex legal agreements, is essential. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, experience with marketing spend categories, and familiarity with large media agencies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Ariba analysis is highly valued. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will empower you to influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.
