Position Overview The maintenance department collaborates with production managers to ensure that machinery operates smoothly. Our focus is on predictive and preventive maintenance, immediate repairs, and supporting large-scale projects such as machine installations. Additionally, our team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of general facilities. Role Overview: Electrical Mechanic for 2nd and 3rd Shift Install and repair electrical systems and electronic components for industrial machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment, implementing effective repair solutions. Collaborate closely with the maintenance team and facilities manager to ensure all machines are operational for each shift. Key Responsibilities Tasks include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic failures on production equipment, along with carrying out necessary repairs. Installation and maintenance of electrical systems and components for industrial machinery will be a significant part of the role. Qualifications Minimum of two years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment is required; a technical diploma or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of machinery setup, operating procedures, and required maintenance. Able to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to utilize equipment manuals and reference materials independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety and familiarity with safe work practices, including Lock Out/Tag Out and Alternate Protective Measures. Physical demands of the job include standing, bending, squatting, and kneeling; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Compensation & Benefits Starting wages at $32.03/hour, with salary based on experience.
