Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of Level 1 trauma and high-acuity acute care experience for a night shift position.
Responsibilities Work in an acute care, Level 1 trauma center CT department with 5 GE CT scanners Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, starting at 7:00 PM Every third weekend required, with weekend nights scheduled on Friday and Saturday No call or holiday work required unless willing Uses Epic EMR system No floating required to other units Expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume department with high-acuity patients Solid color scrubs are required, prints are acceptable Orientation typically lasts up to 1 week No COVID vaccine required for this role Local rates apply for candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility OSF is a drug-free campus and a negative drug screen for all panels is required No radius rule; local candidates are accepted
Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care, high-volume, Level 1 trauma center Active ARRT, BLS, and IEMA certifications required Ability to perform basic CT scanning and start IVs Experience with GE CT scanners necessary Active IL license required or proof that application has been initiated (license required if applicable) Previous travel experience highly preferred Certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending certifications are not accepted
