Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,326 per week in Elkhart, IN

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active state license required prior to start Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Experience with charting in Cerner Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. The shift will consist of 5x8 hours. The daily caseload per technician is approximately 15 procedures. First-time travelers are accepted. On-call requirements include 2 days per week and every third weekend, if desired. Floating to sister facilities may be required, depending on the technician's skills. The technologist will maintain a sterile environment while assisting radiologists in minimally invasive procedures. The callback requirement is 30 minutes. Experience in accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and central venous access is preferred. Additional skills include chest tube placement, dialysis graft creation, and various interventional procedures. The working environment involves adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility is recognized for its teaching and trauma care capabilities. Technologists are expected to adhere to strict conduct standards, and any professional conduct issues may lead to contract termination.
