Job Description Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State licensed Certifications: ARRT R, BLS
Must-Have: - Maintain sterile environment while assisting radiologists in minimally invasive procedures. - Call requirements include 2 shifts per week, with a 30-minute callback requirement. - Experience with charting in Cerner.
Description: This position focuses on the specialty of Interventional Radiology. The shift schedule consists of four 10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30. The role requires rotating call with a requirement to cover weekends. Call is expected every third weekend and 1-2 days per week. There are only call requirements during holidays. Candidates may float to other facilities if eligible. Candidates must have experience with various interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, conducting angioplasty, and maintaining central venous lines. The daily patient load is approximately 15, including adult and geriatric populations. The candidate will be expected to collaborate in an interdisciplinary setting. All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the position. Candidates must be willing to complete onboarding training modules before starting. Professional conduct is crucial, and any issues may result in termination of the contract. Candidates should meet specific experience requirements and be willing to participate in licensure projects if needed.
