About The Position Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:00-06:00, 12-hour shifts, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RT R Certifications: CT (ARRT), BLS Must-Have: - CT registration - Ability to work nights independently - Knowledge of trauma scanning preferred Job Description: - Perform all CT scans including perfusion brains and trauma scans. - Work with GE CT scanners (128 Discovery GE, 16 slice GE). - Use the documentation systems, Meditech and McKesson Pacs. - Be prepared to work in diagnostic x-ray as well based on floating policy. - Adhere to patient experience requirements. - Start IVs as necessary for procedures. - Comply with unit guidelines and policies. - Participate in provided competencies for machine operation. - Wear required uniform of black scrubs. - Work within a unit that will provide adequate support; staff will include RT T CT registered personnel. - Enjoy working with advanced technology such as digital portables, 256 GE, and 128 GE.
