Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Advanced Stroke Center
Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Dec 1, 2025 – Feb 28, 2026)
Shift:
8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (6:30am–3:00pm)

$2250–$2310
Weekend Rotation:
Based on unit needs
On-Call:
Based on unit needs
Orientation:
3–5 days with dedicated preceptor support
Parking:
Free in designated areas
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (3+ years for first-time travel nurses)
Active Registered Nurse license (Wisconsin or compact state)
BLS certification required
Experience with Davinci XI robotic surgical procedures required
Experience in Orthopedic, GYN, and General surgery cases
EPIC charting experience preferred
Ability to circulate required; scrub experience preferred
PACU recovery experience preferred for backup coverage
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Circulate and assist in surgical cases including Orthopedics (total joint, sports medicine), Gynecology (hysterectomy, hysteroscopy), General (cholecystectomy, appendectomy), Bariatrics, Plastics, and Urology
Operate advanced surgical technology including Davinci XI and Striker Mako robots
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team across all specialties
Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC
Float to inpatient nursing units during low census periods
Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as needed
Support a culture of teamwork, strong relationships, and excellent patient care
