Estimated weekly pay: $2,620 - $2,690. Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Milwaukee, WI 53215 (Wisconsin nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Main Operating Room (21 OR beds) Employment Type: Travel Contract – Operating Room RN jobs Shift: 8 Hour Evenings Hours per Week: 40 Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 2/27/2026) On-Call: 30-minute response time required; scheduled call rotation Free Parking & Shuttle: Provided for all healthcare staff Scrubs: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital Operating Room RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in Wisconsin Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (Neuro/ENT surgical cases strongly preferred) Proficiency in robotic surgery (XI) and ability to scrub Extensive experience in Neuro/ENT spine and cranial surgeries (laminectomies, fusions, discectomies, VP shunts, sinus surgery with navigation) Experience with navigation systems: Medtronic (cranial & spine), Stryker, Synaptive, Stealth Navigation (ENT) BLS certification required CNOR certification preferred Familiarity with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication systems Not recommended for first-time travel nurses Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical cases: Neuro, ENT, Orthopedic, General, Vascular, GU, GYN, and robotic procedures Operate advanced navigation and robotic equipment during surgeries Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including charge nurses, leads, and supervisors Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and respond within 30 minutes Cross-train to General Main OR specialty and Urology Center Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records Comply with hospital policies for surgical scrubs and infection control Join Milwaukee’s top healthcare professionals and make a difference in surgical patient care.
