Quality Control Supervisor
This is a ‘boots on the ground’ and visible plant floor position reporting to the Sr. FSQA Manager, with oversight of the quality team and interacting with the laboratory microbiology team. The QC Manager facilitates quality initiatives as a ‘hands-on’ leader, engaging with the team as well as cross-functional leadership throughout the facility. The plant utilizes a wet milling process to create dry mineral ingredients that are applied as nutrients in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all Quality processes, including raw material, semi-finished, and finished goods inspection Oversee quality control tests, sanitation inspections, quarantine procedures, and label control Coordinate trials including production and cleaning validation Draft, review, audit, and update quality operation-related SOPs, protocols, working instructions, statements, templates, and spreadsheets Investigate, conduct root cause analysis, and design CAPA for quality defects, nonconformities, deviations, and customer complaints Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with FSMA, SQF, GMP, HACCP, Kosher, Halal, ISO 17025, and other regulatory requirements Lead and mentor the Quality team, training, and setting goals, and conducting performance reviews Work cross-functionally between operations, maintenance, and corporate
Other responsibilities:
Document procedures and provide guidance to quality leads and technicians This position is responsible for monitoring adherence to food safety standards, managing non-conformance investigations, and implementing corrective actions The Quality Control Supervisor will guide and develop the team, fostering collaboration across departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations Actively support continuous improvement initiatives Perform routine responsibilities such as document management, inventory control and reconciliation as needed Project management skills to oversee quality improvement initiatives Proactive attempts to prevent all accidents and eliminate all unsafe conditions Demonstrate management’s commitment to safety

$75,000 - $100,000 + 7% Bonus
