Job Title: Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Employee Benefits Account Manager to manage and service a book of large group accounts. This role requires experience with self-funded plans and ancillary benefits. The Account Manager will act as a primary point of contact for clients and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and support across all aspects of benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned group benefit accounts, including self-funded plans and ancillary coverage Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, problem resolution, and ongoing support Assist with renewals, plan analysis, and implementation of benefit strategies Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate plan administration Prepare and present materials for client meetings, both virtually and in-person Maintain updated and accurate information in the agency management system Provide proactive communication and consultative support to ensure client satisfaction Qualifications/Requirements:
Active Life and Health (L&H) license required 2-3 years of experience in an employee benefits account management role at an insurance agency Familiarity with larger group accounts and self-funded plan structures Strong knowledge of group benefits and ancillary lines Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
