Responsibilities Perform all facets of the month-end close process for a new acquisition, including leading the integration of assets Liaise with teams across the finance and accounting organization Collaborate with business unit leaders on accounting related topics Serve as subject matter expert on technical accounting matters Research guidance on technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos Coordinate technical topic conclusions with auditors Prepare first-year and annual GAAP financial statements Spearhead the financial statement audit process for the new acquisition Provide schedules to lenders Partner with external auditors on audit requests and technical accounting matters Identify, streamline and improve finance and accounting processes Mentor staff members on the team Participate in special projects as needed Qualifications
6+ years' experience in an Accounting Manager role or equivalent Experience with ASCs that include leases, acquisitions/divestitures, debt restructurings, and other topics CPA required
