The responsibilities of this position are to disassemble and inspect, evaluate, recondition, reassemble and rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and other components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to read schematics and operation sheets.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment.
Responsible for inspecting, identifying and installing seals.
Responsible for inspecting valves and pumps.
Responsible for testing and set-up of all repaired equipment.
Reports any malfunctions or equipment problems to Shop Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills.
Steady eye-hand coordination.
Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Hydraulic experience a plus.
Welding experience a plus.
