Mfg Tech -Valve Assembly
Valve Assembly Tech is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines used in the production of valves. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure the efficient and precise manufacturing of high-quality valves.
Essential Job Functions: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications Assemble valves and related components Cut shafts Paint Set stroke Rebuild cylinders Configure and set up machines according to specifications Operate equipment to produce valves within defined tolerances and quality standards Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process Strong attention to detail and very safety oriented This is not a complete list Requirements; additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Safe operation of all tools Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment Materials handling experience preferred Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies Required Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment: Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand. Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
