We also provide a range of voluntary benefits for you to choose from. Responsibilities Maintain proper material quality and manage inventory to meet production demands. Conduct plant maintenance to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant operation. Perform inspections for safety, quality, and mechanical issues in the plant and on mobile equipment. Address housekeeping issues promptly within the workplace. Operate heavy machinery, including loaders, excavators, haul trucks, skid steers, and bulldozers. Understand the plant's process flow and produce high-quality products reliably. Monitor performance across all plant processes regularly. Complete and maintain accurate reports and compliance records related to maintenance, environmental issues, safety, and production. Achieve and maintain Method 9 Emissions certification successfully. Familiarize with MSHA rules and regulations to ensure compliance. Education High school diploma or GED required. Requirements/Qualifications Experience in aggregate plant operations with a deep understanding of production processes and equipment. 5+ years in heavy equipment maintenance, quarry or mining operations, or industrial plant supervision. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, bulldozers, off-road trucks, and excavators. Knowledge of crushers, screens, washing plants, pumps, haul trucks, and loaders. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance schedules. Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and work order management. Physical capability to walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs. routinely and 100 lbs. occasionally. Able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform well in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively with others. Current MSHA training certification is a plus, along with knowledge of MSHA regulations. Welding and cutting experience is preferred. Conditions of Employment The successful candidate must pass a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions may require ongoing drug and alcohol testing regulated by FMCSA.
