Are you a proactive individual with strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow your skills in a dynamic foundry environment? We're seeking a
Maintenance Assistant Technician
to join our team, offering a consistent
1st shift schedule
and excellent benefits.
What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Assistant Technician, you'll perform a variety of essential maintenance tasks to keep our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing
various machinery and systems, including electrical, heating, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and furnaces.
Troubleshooting mechanical problems , utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed to determine effective solutions.
Assembling, installing, or repairing
wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, plumbing, and other equipment.
Performing routine maintenance
such as cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
Collaborating with outside vendors
to order spare parts and necessary supplies.
Executing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks
on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Performing pipe work , including bending, cutting, threading, and sealing joints.
Installing conduit and pulling wires
for electrical systems.
Supporting all building and facility requirements
as directed by the supervisor.
Assisting with weekly, monthly, and annual EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) inspections.
Maintaining a neat and organized work area while upholding a respectful and professional demeanor.
This position requires a
proactive approach to learning ; daily responsibilities will become consistent following an initial training period.
Schedule & Compensation:
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience (BOE)
