In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for ensuring the highest quality of medical care for our participants, directly overseeing primary care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and managing care across diverse settings, including hospitals and nursing homes. As the CMO, you will spearhead the development and implementation of care protocols, best practices, and educational initiatives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration with our interdisciplinary team to establish and attain care plan objectives is essential. Additionally, you will be involved in the recruitment, training, and supervision of our medical staff. Applicants must possess a Doctorate in medicine or osteopathy, along with at least 5 years of primary care experience with seniors and 3-5 years of experience in staff, budgetary, and clinical management. We are looking for a candidate with a robust foundation in evidence-based practice, the ability to engage effectively with diverse cultural populations, and a proven track record in leading quality improvement initiatives. The CMO will also have a key role in the strategic and operational management of pharmacy services. Essential skills include proficiency in clinical tasks, the ability to maintain confidentiality, effective communication, and strong task prioritization. Required licensure includes a Doctor of medicine or osteopathy, Controlled Substance Registration, CPR Certification, NPI Number, DEA Registration Number, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation for community-based travel.
